I still work the job. I've worked prehospital, flight, fire, and the emergency department — different roles, different agencies, different settings. Every place had something different.
Some had an app for protocols. Some had something for pediatric dosing. Some had nothing. I was still jumping between three or four things in the middle of a critical call. What was out there was built for the hospital and adapted for the field. You could feel it the second you opened it.
None of it was built by anyone who'd actually been there.
